about

Mi Bolsa de Diversión Dos: A second compilation of all the bad stuff that no one wants to hear, in bulk.

We start off with a cover of Mark Morrison's seminal 1996 chart-topper "Return of the Mack," followed by "Faraway Sun," co-produced by dumbinsidejoke at Big Shot Lounge and "Vague Rhythm," which was a song that dumbinsidejoke deemed unworthy to appear on BSL's 2018 self-titled studio album. "Kill! Kill! Kill!" is, as the name suggests, a funk jam. DEALWITHIT Remix is a remix of dumbinsidejoke's genius remix of Corbin Bleu's genius song "Deal With It." "Gunk Star" is a load of gunk, shipped express to your eardrums. "Am I a Bug Man?" co-produced with dumbinsidejoke at Big Shot Lounge tackles the age-old question. Afterward, we are faced with the Intro track on upcoming Sasquatch Fever masterwork "Kercuf." After that, "Kavoka." Then, "You Married a Website?" a song recorded during the extensive sessions for the self-titled feck album. "The House Burns" is what you would hear after you are burned alive and have to suffer the music in your head as you fall into an eternal pit of cosmic hate you son of a bitch. "Mr. Wonderful" is a cover of the Residents' song by the same name that was a solemn response to the (then current event) 9/11 attacks. "Cheese Grater to the Tongue" is another track from the upcoming film "Kercuf," this time, a chase scene that ends with (spoiler alert) a character getting a cheese grater to the tongue). "Edweena" is another Residents cover, this time a long ass cover of their similarly titled song from the classic record "Not Available."

Let's say that this is the start of side B so that I can start a new paragraph. "Don't Call Me Andy" is an Andrew WK/Steev Mike cover, an outtake from an upcoming record (it's an outtake for obvious reasons). "Monster Madness (At the Drive-In)" was recorded in a spooky hall with only a drum set and a ghostly organ, the performers being feck and Flip Fitch. After that, a version of "Somebody Else," a track from an upcoming album, with clean vocals. Then, "Hex" (Panic Boy) without all the shitty distortion effects I put on it. Then, "You're Sick" (feck) without all the shitty sound effects me and Sheila Mars put on it. You asked for it, you got it, "DEALWITHIT Remix," a song you didn't know until this album, finally gets its instrumental version. Afterward, a version of "Contaminator" (Panic Boy) without the shitty aforementioned distortion effects. Then, "Ice Cream Truck" (feck) but long. Followed by a feck outtake "Bass Death" recorded by feck and dumbinsidejoke at Big Shot Lounge. After that, a really, really, terribly shitty cover of "Hyperactive!" by Thomas Dolby. Tracks 25-31 is a piano demo I drunkenly sent to dumbinsidejoke with the dream of fully actualizing the tracks therein. And they were instead half-assedly actualized on the record "Fazing Out," which came out much later. Then, three noodle tracks, an acoustic version of "Somebody Else," an acoustic version of "When She Kisses Me" by Jonathan Richman, and the sounds of a drum imploding with light ambient acoustic guitar as a backing track. And, last but least, "Crap Radio 2" a 30 minute quick man's compilation of all my half-assed unfinished material from the early 2010's until now.
